DILEK TOPKARA

In Berlin geboren und aufgewachsen, studierte ich Lebensmitteltechnologie. Nach dem Abschluss meines Studiums und einem Forschungsaufenthalt in England spezialisierte ich mich im Bereich Cake Design und arbeitete u.a. in London, New York City und Berlin. Meine Arbeit wurde durch mehrere Stipendien der Europäischen Kommission ausgezeichnet und gefördert.

Nachdem ich mehrere Jahre im Ausland und zuletzt in London lebte, gründete ich 2013 dilekerei in Berlin.

I was born and grew up in Berlin, where I studied food science and technology at the university level. I have worked in multiple cities in the UK, as well as New York City and Berlin and was awarded numerous scholarships from the European Commission to study abroad. I worked for leading cake companies in the UK, where I gained firsthand experiences in the art of cake design and decorating. 

Prior to opening my shop in 2013, I was based in London. After spending several years abroad, I returned to Berlin to set up dilekerei.
